Porsche has recently released the very first video with the 2014 Panamera, which will be officially presented to the public this month, during the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
The facelifted version of the Porsche Panamera has already been unveiled just a few hours ago and the model is coming with an updated front fascia, new rear end, different bumpers, redesigned headlights, upgraded taillights and some other tweaks, while the cabin remains pretty much the same. The “new” Panamera is now getting a 3.0 liter V6 twin-turbo engine, with 420 HP, replacing the old 4.8 ltier V8, with 400 HP, from the S version. The diesel is now good for 300 HP.
With the 2014 model year, Porsche is bringing a new version of the Panamera, the S E-Hybrid, which has an electric motor with 95 HP and a 9.4 kWh lithium-ion battery. This can be charged in 2.5 hours from a conventional socket, using a fast charger, and it’s proving a 36 km range in full electric mode. Fuel consumption stands at 3.1 liters / 100 km, the 0 to 100 km/h sprint is done in just 5.5 seconds and top speed is 270 km/h. More details on the 2014 Porsche Panamera will be announced in Shanghai.
