Daniel Craig has recently went for a spin in the new generation of the Range Rover Sport in New York, during the presentation of the popular SUV at the automotive event.
James Bond himself was chosen by JLR in order to present the new generation of the Range Rover Sport, during the 2013 New York Auto Show. This might be a hint that the model might appear in an upcoming 007 movie. The 2014 Range Rover Sport has gained a lot in features and build quality, especially in the cabin, where a third row of seats has been added, so you can take your kids to school in it.
The 2014 Range Rover Sport is powered by a 3.0 liter supercharged V6 engine in the base entry-level version, replacing the 5.0 liter naturally aspirated Jaguar-sourced V8 unit. The top of the line is getting a 5.0 liter V8, with 510 HP. Both engine are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission signed by ZF, with optional low-range and two-speed transfer case and standard single-speed Torsen differential. The 2014 Range Rover Sport SE will become available in the U.S. for 63,495 USD, the HSE from 68,495 USD and the Supercharged will set you back for 79,995 USD.
