Land Rover has released a new teaser video with the new generation of the Range Rover Sport, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 2013 New York Auto Show.
After it was caught testing in both hot and cold weather over these past few months, and then even leaked showing its exterior design, the new generation of the Range Rover Sport, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is ending up in our news once again, this time with the carmaker releasing a new official video with it, ahead of the SUV’s debut scheduled for the 2103 New York Auto Show, on the 27th of March.
The new generation of the Range Rover Sport has a more aggressive front fascia and an overall design inspired by its smaller brother, the Evoque. Land Rover has tried to put some gap between the luxury 2013 Range Rover and the new generation of the Range Rover Sport. The model is getting a prominent front grille, slender headlights, a dual exhaust system and a tailgate mounted spoiler, amongst others. The engine lineup will probably include the 3.0 liter TDV6 with 250 HP (190 kW) and 600 Nm of torque (442 lb-ft), the 4.4 liter SDV8 with 335 HP (250 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft), the 3.0 liter V6 supercharged generating 340 HP (253 kW) and the 5.0 liter V8 supercharged with its 510 HP (380 kW).
