A new presentation video with the 2014 Skoda Octavia has been recently released by the Czech based automaker.
After it was officially unveiled just a few weeks ago, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the Czech based automaker releasing a new promotional video with the model. The 2014 Octavia is coming with an optional panorama glass roof, with a three spoke steering wheel, an updated infotainment system and more. The model will be launched in Europe this year and in Asia probably in early 2014.
Skoda says that the new Octavia generation is coming with engine options such as the 1.8 liter TSI with 179 HP (132 kW) or the 1.6 liter TDI GreenLine with 110 HP (81 kW), which is burning just 3.4 liters of fuel every 100 km (83.0 mpg UK / 69.1 mpg US) and it’s emitting 89 g/km of CO2. The model is 90 mm longer and 45 mm wider than the outgoing version. Its wheelbase has also increased up to 108 mm. the 2014 Skoda Octavia will make its public debut on the 14th of January, during the 2013 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit.
