The Czech based automaker Skoda has recently released a new promotional video with the new generation of the Octavia.
The 2014 Skoda Octavia is ending up in our news once again and after it was unveiled just a few weeks ago, the carmaker has decided to release a new promotional video with the model. The 2014 Skoda Octavia is coming with an attractive interior design, with an updated infotainment system, with a three-spoke steering wheel, with an optional panorama glass roof and with more. The model will be launched in Europe sometimes next year and it will also arrive in several markets across Asia later on.
The new generation of the Skoda Octavia will get engine options such as the 1.8 liter TSI with 179 HP (132 kW) or the 1.6 liter TDI GreenLine with 110 HP (81 kW), which is burning just 3.4 liters of fuel every 100 km (83.0 mpg UK / 69.1 mpg US) and it’s emitting 89 g/km of CO2. The new Octavia is now 90 mm longer and 45 mm wider than the outgoing model and it’s also riding on a 108 mm longer wheelbase. The model is riding on the MQB platform, the same one used on the new Golf 7, on the new Audi A3 or on the new Seat Leon, amongst others. The 2014 Skoda Octavia will make its public debut in Detroit, on the 14th of January.
