The new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS has been recently spotted on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, where the model was being tested.
After leaking earlier this year and then being teased by the carmaker, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video. The footage posted below is showing the new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS on the Nurburgring, in a new spy video, so if you’re interested in the model, you should probably scroll down and click play.
The new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS is rumored to be powered by the same engine used on the new generation of the VW Golf GTI, the 2.0 liter TFSI, which will produce approximately 220 HP (164 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft). A more powerful version, with 250 HP, might be offered too. The Czech based automaker has announced that the 2014 Skoda Octavia RS will be officially presented to the public during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, in July, so more details on the model remain unknown for the moment.
