The new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS has been recently spotted on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, where it was being tested.
After it was teased for the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed and then leaking a couple of times, the new generation of the Skoda Octavia RS is ending up in our news once again, this time with the help of a new spy video. The footage posted below is showing the powerful Czech vehicle being tested on the Nurburgring, getting ready for its future customers.
The 2014 Skoda Octavia is expected to be powered by the same engine found under the hood of the new Volkswagen Golf GTI generation, the 2.0 liter TFSI, which should produce approximately 220 HP (164 kW) and 350 Nm of torque (258 lb-ft). A more powerful version of the model might be offered, with 250 HP. The 2014 Skoda Octavia RS will be officially presented to the public on the 11th of July, during the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed. Additional details on the model are limited for the moment.
