The very first promotional video with the brand new 2014 SsangYong Rodiushas been recently released by the South Korean based automaker.
After leaking a couple of times over the last few days and with the model unveiled just hours ago, the new generation of the SsangYong Rodius, which is wearing the 2014 model year in its name, is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of an official video. The footage posted below may be in Korean but that doesn’t mean that the “message” can’t be understood. The new Rodius is being presented as the perfect car for a young family with children, but, in the end, let’s be honest, who wakes up in the morning and says: “Well, I don’t like German vehicle, the French have bad taste in women and the Japanese eat too much sushi, so I want a SsangYong!”.
The 2014 SsangYong Rodius, also known as the SsangYong Turismo in some markets or the Stavic in others, is coming in several configurations, with either nine, ten or eleven seats, offering up to 3,240 liters of cargo volume. The model is powered by a 2.0 L turbo diesel engine, mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard or to the Mercedes-Benz-sourced 5-speed automatic. In Russia and South Korea, the model is also getting a 3.2 liter six-cylinder petrol unit.
