The Japanese based automaker Suzuki has recently released the first presentation video with the new generation of the SX4, explaining important details which were part of its creation.
The 2014 Suzuki SX4 is 4,300 mm long, 1,765 mm wide and 1,570 mm tall (17-inch wheels), compared to the size of the outgoing version of 4,135 mm in length, 1,755 mm in width and 1,565 mm in height. The model is riding on a 2,600 mm wheelbase, compared to the previous 2,500 mm, and the boot capacity has also increased from 270 liters to a total of 430 liters. The new generation of the Suzuki SX4 is therefore larger and more spacious than the outgoing version.
Power to the brand new Suzuki SX4 will be provided by a 1.6 liter diesel engine and by a 1.6 liter petrol unit, mated to a six-speed manual transmission, but future owners of the model will also be able to order a CVT. The new SX4 is also getting an all-wheel drive system, named the ALLGRIP. The 2014 Suzuki SX4 will be produced in Hungary starting this autumn. The model was officially presented to the public for the first time during the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
