Toyota has officially pulled the wraps off the 2014 Harrier in its local auto market, with the model being scheduled to go on sale on the 2nd of December.
The brand new Toyota Harrier is basically a rebadged version of the Lexus RX, which will set you back for 2,720,000 JPY or approximately 20,300 euros for the standard model and up to 3,610,000 JPY or 27,000 euros for the hybrid variant. The model in question will take its power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine, mated to a CVT, which will send power to the standard two-wheel drive system, or the optional all-wheel drive system.
The model’s engine will produce a total output of 151 HP (111 kW) and it will have a peak torque of 193 Nm, which will help it return 6.2L / 100 km in fuel consumption (45.5 mpg UK / 37.9 mpg US). The hybrid version of the 2014 Toyota Harrier will be introduced on the 15th of January, and it will get 196 HP (144 kW) and 206 Nm (152 lb-ft). This will only become available with a four-wheel drive layout. More details on the 2014 Toyota Harrier will be announced close to its official launch.
