The new generation of the Audi R8 has been recently spied while being tested out on the Nurburgring.
Audi is getting ready to introduce the new generation of the R8 as the model in question has been recently spied while it was being tested out on the famous German track, the Nurburgring. The second generation of the supercar will have a completely new chassis, a new design, which will mimic the looks of new models within the company, a new interior design, new technologies and, of course new engines, or a new engine, at least.
The 2015 Audi R8 will share a lot of components with the recently unveiled Lamborghini Huracan, the successor of the popular Gallardo, such as the chassis, the suspension and so on. The model will get a mid-engined platform and as far as the engine goes, this will probably be a twin turbo V8 or even the naturally aspirated V10 from the Huracan. The transmission should be an automatic 7-speed S-tronic while enthusiasts will be able to order the 6-speed manual option too. The new-gen Audi R8 should be officially presented to the public this October, during the 2014 Paris Motor Show.
