The North American based automaker Ford has recently released the first official videos with the brand new Everest, which has been recently unveiled.
After officially pulling the wraps off the body of the 2015 Ford Everest just a day ago, the car manufacturer has now released the first official videos with the model. The Everest has been based on the Ford Ranger pickup truck and it has been described as an off-road SUV, coming with a body-on-frame construction, with an active transfer case, with Torque on Demand, with four-wheel drive and a Terrain Management System, amongst others.
The brand new SUV will be available in both rear-wheel and four-wheel drive, depending on the specific market demand, and it will come with a best-in-class ground clearance of 225 mm. A total of three engines will become available for the model, including the 2.0 liter EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder petrol, along with the 3.2 liter Duratorq five-cylinder TDCi and the 2.2 liter Duratorq four-cylinder TDCi. Two transmission options are available, the 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic. The 2015 Ford Everest will go on sale next year in 9 markets including Australia, New Zealand, China, India and other markets in the ASEAN region. This will also become available in South Africa too.
