The 2015 Kia Sorento has been recently teased by the carmaker with the help of a video and two images, which have been released.
Kia is getting ready to update the Sorento and after the 2015 model year has been caught on camera by our spy photographers just a few weeks ago, the vehicle is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of two images and a video, which have been released by the company. The 2015 Kia Sorento will have a significantly lowered roofline, oversized wheels, a new front grille, muscular wheel arches, a prominent roof mounted spoiler in the rear and several other tweaks to help it stand out from a crowd.
The 2015 Kia Sorento is taking some of the styling cues of the K900 and Cadenza and the model should get an elongated wheelbase which will be translated into a more spacious cabin, with additional legroom. As far as the engine lineup goes, this should be carried over but it seems that the vehicle can also get a 2.3 liter four-cylinder engine along with an electric motor and a 47 kW lithium-polymer battery, to create a hybrid version. The 2015 Kia Sorento will be unveiled in South Korean at the end of August and it will be brought to the 2014 Paris Motor Show, this October.
