The guys at Auto Express have recently gotten the chance to get close to the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class generation and what came out is the model’s first review, a static one.
The 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a completely new vehicle, which has received a new design, with a new grille, new headlights, different taillights, which make it look like a larger CLA and an increased size, in order to make room for the elegant four-door coupe. The new C-Class generation is also getting some similarities to the facelifted E-Class and even the new S-Class generation and it’s now 10 cm longer, standing at 469 cm in full length, which is making it 6 cm longer than the 3-Series Sedan, made by BMW.
The brand new vehicle will come in four petrol versions, the C180, the C200, the C300 and the C400, and in four diesel variants, the C180, C200, C220 and C250 CDIs. Let’s not forget the C63 AMG, which will probably make its way onto the market in late 2014 or even in 2015. The diesel hybrid module will give birth to the C300 BlueTEC HYBRID, which will come with a four-cylinder diesel engine and an electric compact motor, producing 204 + 27 HP and burning just 3.9L of fuel every 100 km, in an average cycle.
