MINI has released the first pricing details and the first videos with the recently unveiled 5-door hatchback.
The 2015 MINI 5-door hatchback is close to starting its first deliveries after it has been officially unveiled just a day ago, but those of you interested in the model in question will have to wait until receiving their brand new ride because this should happen in January, next year. MINI says that the new 5-door hatchback will cost 1,000 USD more than the three-door versions. The vehicle stands at 0.4 inches taller and 6.3 inches longer than the already available model.
At the time of its launch, the 2015 MINI 5-door hatchback will come in two versions, the base, costing 21,950 USD, and the Cooper S hardtop. The first one will come with a 1.5 liter turbocharged 4-cylinder gasoline burner, with 134 HP and 170 lb-ft of torque, while the other one will have a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbo engine under its hood, producing 189 HP and 207 lb-ft of torque. The 0 to 60 mph sprint will take 6.6s with the manual and 6.5s with the automatic transmission. Top speed will stand at 145 mph. Prices for this variant will start from 24,600 USD.
