Porsche is currently testing out a new version of the Cayenne, the Cayenne GTS, which is believed to pack a new engine.
The 2015 Porsche Cayenne lineup will soon be expanded with the addition of this Cayenne GTS model. The popular luxury cruiser will be sitting between the Cayenne S and the future Cayenne Turbo S, minimizing the gap between the two models. The vehicle seen in the video posted below is actually a test mule, which has been spotted out on the famous German track, the Nurburgring, so the final product may turn out to be quite different.
The upcoming 2015 Porsche Cayenne GTS will come with a new front bumper, blacked out grilles, matte black finish for the daytime running lights, fog lights and front air intake surrounds, different taillights, new tailgate, redesigned exhaust pipes and so on. The 2015 Cayenne GTS should drop the current 4.8 liter V8 engine for the 3.6 liter twin turbo V6, used on the Cayenne S and Macan Turbo, which should be upgraded, but no official statement has been made just yet. The model in question is believed to be introduced at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, in October.
