[VIDEO] 2015 Smart ForTwo and ForFour make video debut
Smart has released the first official videos with the new generation of the ForTwo and with its larger brother, the new ForFour.
A few hours after being officially unveiled, in the virtual world, the new generations of the Smart ForTwo and Smart ForFour are being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of their first videos, which are highlighting their small size and some of their features, so this should be quite enough to make you ask more questions on them and, eventually, place a deposit for such a vehicle.
The new-gen Smart ForTwo stands at 2,69 meters in length, 1,66 meters in width and 1,55 meters in height, riding on a 1,873 mm long wheelbase. The ForFour is 3,49 meters long and it has a 2,494 mm long wheelbase. At the time of their launch, the two city cars will become available with a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated engine, with 71 HP (52 kW) and 91 Nm (67 lb-ft) of torque.
The 0.9 liter turbocharged will also become available, with its 90 HP (66 kW) and 135 Nm (99 lb-ft) of torque. Later on, the so-called “basic petrol engine” will be introduced too, with its 60 HP (45 kW). Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a twinamic 6-speed dual clutch. Prices for the new ForTwo will start from 11,000 euros while the ForFour will cost 600 euros more.
