The 2015 Subaru WRX has received a new presentation and explanation video in which we can see the company’s Product Communications national manager, Dominick Infante, talk about the car.
After officially pulling the wraps off the brand new 2015 Subaru WRX, just last week, during the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, the Japanese based automaker is placing the model into the spotlights once again, this time by releasing a new clip. The styling of the 2015 Subaru WRX probably won’t win any customers but that doesn’t necessarily mean that this is a bad ride. The cabin of the model has been completely redesigned and it has received a Harman Kardon audio system, GPS navigation, flat bottomed steering wheel, sport seats, leather upholstery and others.
As far as the engine goes, the brand new Subaru WRX is taking its power from a 2.0 liter four-cylinder boxer unit, which is producing a total output of 268 HP (200 kW) and it has a peak torque of 349 Nm (258 lb-ft). Power is being sent to the wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission or to a Sport Lineatronic CVT, available as an option, with the SI-DRIVE (Subaru Intelligent Drive). This is providing three different drive modes, Intelligent, Sport and Sport Sharp. When equipped with the manual gearbox, the WRX can sprint from a standstill to 60 mph (96 km/h) in just over 5 seconds.
