Besides being an annual championship of the NFL, Super Bowl has been over the year turned into one of the most expensive ad opportunities for all the brands out there. And of course the auto industry went for advertisement as much as they could, taking into account that the audience was a “small” number of 111.5 million viewers. Jeep went for a patriotic 90-second spot in the third quarter of the Super Bowl to promote its “America’s smallest and lightest SUV”, the Jeep Renegade:

The new 2016 Kia Sorento gets a funny spot featuring the famous 007 Agent, Pierce Brosnan:

Lexus introduces its first turbo and hybrid NX and its first ever RC 350 in two 30-second spots focused solely on the car product:

The brand shows its Mercedes-Benz AMG GT in a one minute fable sort of way using the tortoise versus hare race:

Mercedes-Benz then goes on with four clips promoting “The Big Race” between the Tortoise and the Hare. We can see NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice host a fictional show, have Playboy Playmate Stephanie Branton show up as a guest, take a phone interview with the tortoise on the race topic, and also ESPN’s Mike & Mike debate over who the winner of the raise would be.
