After being officially unveiled a few days ago, the new-gen VW Passat has just received its first promotional video.
The 2015 Volkswagen Passat is a completely new car with bigger aspirations as it has received a new platform, a completely new design, a new layout for the cabin and new engines. The vehicle stands at 4,767 mm in length, 1,832 mm in width and 1,456 mm in height which makes it 2 mm shorter, 12 mm wider and 6 mm lower than the previous version. VW says that the model is riding on a 2,791 mm long wheelbase, which has been stretched by 79 mm.
All versions of the new Passat generation are coming with the LED taillights, with LED headlights, Dynamic Light assist and so on. The cargo space has increased by 21 liters, standing in at 586 liters for the sedan and 650 liters (57 liters more) for the Variant. IT has also received the City Emergency Braking, the Trailer Assist, the Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert, the Emergency assist, the 360 degree cameras and some other tweaks.
