The new generation of the Volkswagen Passat has received a new ad in which the car manufacturer is telling us about fuel economy and good parenting.
The 2015 Volkswagen Passat has been crowned Car of the Year during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show and since then we haven’t really heard anything about it. But things are about to get different as the German based automaker has released a new promotional video with the midsized car. We’re not going to be spoilers and tell you what is really about but we can hint the “funny” and “good parenting” words. The new generation of the Volkswagen Passat is 4,767 mm long, 1,832 mm wide and 1,456 mm tall. This is making it 2 mm shorter, 12 mm wider and 6 mm lower compared to the previous version and the wheelbase has been stretched by 79 mm, to a total of 2,791 mm. All versions of the car have the Dynamic Light Assist, LED headlights and LED taillights. Some of the technologies found on it include the 360 degree camera, Emergency Assist, Side Assist with Rear Traffic Alert, City Emergency Braking, Trailer Assist and more. In the sedan, you will get 586 liters of cargo space and 650 liters in the Variant. The engine lineup is includes the 1.4L 125 HP, the 180 HP, 220 HP and 280 HP 2.0L TSI, the GTE plug-in hybrid with 218 HP, the 120 HP 1.6L TDI and the 150 HP, 190 HP and 240 HP 2.0L TDI.
