Audi has released the first promotional video with the recently unveiled Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI Quattro which will be offered for sale across the Old Continent, next spring.
Audi’s answer to the Mercedes-Benz GLE 500e and to the BMW X5 xDrive40e is called the Q7 e-tron 3.0 TDI Quattro and this has been officially presented to the public at the beginning of March, during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question is now being highlighted once more this time with the help of its first official video. The full-size SUV made in Ingolstadt, which is now in its second generation, has received the 3.0 liter TDI six-cylinder diesel burner under its hood, along with an electric motor and a 17.3 kWh lithium-ion battery, connected to an 8-speed tiptronic transmission.
The internal combustion engine is capable of producing 258 HP (190 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque, while the electric motor has 128 HP (94 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The total output stands at 373 HP (275 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, allowing the SUV to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in 6 seconds and to go up to 225 km/h (140 mph). The fuel consumption stands at 1.7 L / 100 km (166 mpg UK / 138 mpg US) and the CO2 emissions stop at 50 g/km. On electric power, the plug-in hybrid can be driven for 56 km (35 miles) and the total range is 1,410 km (876.1 miles).
