The new generation of the BMW X1 is the subject of a walkaround video which has been released recently over the web.
The 2016 BMW X1 may have been officially unveiled over the web just a few days ago but that didn’t stop the guys from AutoExpress in getting closer with it, checking it out and talking about some of its features and main changes. The new generation of the compact crossover produced in Bavaria is aiming towards models such as the Audi Q3 or the Mercedes-Benz GLA. The vehicle has a completely new exterior design, which is bringing it closer in looks to its larger brothers, the X3 and the X5. The interior has been updated too and here we can find the freestanding iDrive infotainment system with the 6.5-inch display, the Aluminum Hexagon trim, the Alcantara / cloth sport seats, the optional head-up display and so on. As far as the engine lineup goes, the model is bringing the 192 HP (141 kW) & 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque from the 2.0 liter petrol burner, along with the 2.0 liter 231 HP (170 kW) & 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. The diesel burners have a 2.0 liter displacement and they are getting 150 HP (110 kW), 190 HP (139 kW) and 231 HP (170 kW).
