The official launch film of the 2016 BMW X1 has been recently released by the German based automaker.
After it has been officially unveiled a couple of months ago, the 2016 BMW X1 is now being highlighted once again, this time with the help of a new clip. The video in question, which has been posted below, is nothing more than the launch film and it is showing happy people doing happy things outside. The vehicle is playing the main role, obviously, and the carmaker wants to prove that despite not being a proper off-roader, it still has what it needs in order to tackle a dirt road.
The 2016 BMW X1 is nothing more than a new generation of the vehicle. This is taking aim at the Mercedes-Benz GLA and at the Audi Q3, coming with a new exterior design which is making it look similar to its larger brothers, the X3 and the X5. The interior of the crossover has been updated too and here we can find the Alcantara / cloth sport seats, the Aluminum Hexagon trim, the freestanding iDrive infotainment system with a 6.5-inch display, an optional head-up display and more. The engine lineup includes the 2.0 liter petrol burner, coming with 192 HP (141 kW) and 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) of torque, along with the 2.0 liter unit with 231 HP (170 kW) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque. There is also a 2.0 liter diesel engine, coming in three outputs, 150 HP (110 kW), 190 HP (139 kW) and 231 HP (170 kW).
