The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is coming with a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine under its hood to rival the Ford Mustang EcoBoost. This is getting 275 HP (205 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque. From 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h), this version needs less than 6s and it can achieved 30 mpg on the highway. Next in the lineup comes the 335 HP (250 kW) and 385 Nm (284 lb-ft) of torque 3.6 liter V6 unit, which can be connected to the 6-speed manual as the four-cylinder unit or to the optional 8-speed automatic. The range-topping version, the Camaro SS, will be making use of the 6.2 liter V8 unit, rated at 455 HP (339 kW) and 617 Nm (455 lb-ft) of torque. This is connected to the 8-speed automatic and it has RWD.
