One of the first reviews with the new Chevrolet Camaro SS is here.
The new generation of the Chevrolet Camaro was introduced earlier this year and if you are curious on how one of the main competitors of the Ford Mustang is, than you came to the right place, because Automobile Magazine has gotten you covered. The review is showing the muscle car being tested on the track, in Michigan, and it’s finding it to be noisy. This is the range-topping variant, the Camaro SS.
The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS is packing a 6.2 liter V8 engine under its hood. The unit is capable of producing a total of 455 HP, enough for a 0 to 60 mph sprint made in 4.3 seconds with the manual and in 4.0 seconds with the automatic. The range-topping version of the muscle car is slightly more powerful than the Mustang GT, which has a 5.0l V8 engine. The GM-made vehicle is also bringing a 3.6l V6 and a 2.0 liter four-cylinder turbocharged unit, with 275 HP. This can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds. The new Camaro starts from 26,695 USD and it can go up to 37,295 USD for the SS.
