The upcoming top of the line version of the new Ford Focus generation, the RS, has been recently caught on camera while it was being tested out on the Green Hell.
Rumors on the new generation of the Ford Focus RS will be making a new step soon as they will be transformed into reality. The North American based automaker Ford has brought a prototype of the upcoming Focus RS on the Nurburgring, where it was being tested out and if you have a feeling that this isn’t the hot hatch, turn the volume up and watch it go around corners.
The upcoming Ford Focus RS is believed to be making its way onto the market in the next couple of years and it will be powered by the 2.3 liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, form the new Mustang generation. This is estimated to produce approximately 330 HP (243 kW), making it 30 HP (22 kW) more powerful than the previous version. Despite this, it will retain its front-wheel drive and it will be sending power to the front wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Prices for the model are expected to stand at just over 34,000 euros once it will hit the market.
