Lexus has pulled the wraps off the 2016 LX 570 during the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
The facelifted version of the Lexus LX 570 is joining the 2016 Lexus GS as the company’s stand at the 2015 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. The model in question has been officially unveiled and it is getting a large one-piece spindle grille, a revised front bumper, reshaped fog lights, different LED headlights, a new rear bumper, updated taillights, chrome detailing and a fresh set of 20- and 21-inch alloy wheels. The cabin of the model has been slightly upgraded too and this has received the larger 4.2-inch instrument cluster display, along with the 12.3-inch display for the updated infotainment system along with a standard panoramic view camera.
The 2016 Lexus 570 is also bringing some other features which include the larger 11.6-inch display for the rear-seat entertainment system, the wireless charging, the head-up display, the LED ambient lighting and an upgraded Luxury Package adding the heated and ventilated rear seats. Under its hood, the facelifted version of the Lexus 570 has a 5.7 liter V8 engine, which is obviously familiar, capable of putting down a total output of 383 HP (286 kW), with a peak torque of 546 Nm (403 lb-ft) of torque. The unit is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission, replacing the old six-speed automatic gearbox, and it is allowing a maximum towing capacity of 3,175 kg (7,000 lbs). The model will be offered for sale soon but no pricing details have been announced so far.
