The Japanese based automaker Lexus is currently teasing out the brand new RX crossover which will debut at the 2015 New York Auto Show, on the 1st of April.
A new generation of the Lexus RX will be officially introduced at the 2015 New York Auto Show, in a premiere, by Toyota’s luxury brand. The model in question is being placed into the spotlights these days thanks to its first teaser video which, as you probably already know by now, it isn’t revealing that much.
“The fourth generation RX will make its global debut at a press conference in the Galleria at Jacob Javits Convention Center on Wednesday, April 1 at 9:10 a.m. EDT. The press conference will also be streamed live at https://new.livestream.com/LexusInternational/NY-2015”, said the carmaker in its official press release.
The Lexus RX has been in production since 1997 and its third generation has been introduced back in 2008. Now, almost seven years since it has been around, the model is getting ready to receive a new generation. There isn’t much known about the mid-size luxury cruiser at this time but rumor has it that this will be modeled after its Japanese version, which is called the Toyota Harrier. A new platform is expected to be used on its development, along with an entirely new engine lineup, which will drop the 2.7 liter gasoline, the 3.5 liter gasoline and the 3.5 liter hybrid from the lineup. More details on the subject are limited at this time and will be announced in New York.
