The 2016 Skoda Superb has received yet another teaser ahead of its public debut which will be taking place during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, in March.
The new generation of the Skoda Superb has been spied numerous times and teased even more but with each passing week, the model is getting closer and closer to its official unveil, which will be taking place at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, on the 3rd of March. The newest teaser video is showing us part of the new car but not before reminding us of the original Superb, which was introduced back in 1934, the first Skoda model to get a V8 engine under its hood and all-wheel drive.
The 2016 Skoda Superb will be offered in two body styles, the liftback and the wagon, as the first one will get 625 liters of boot space with the rear seats up and up to 1,760 liters with the rear seats folded. The vehicle will be riding, in its both versions, on the same platform of the new Volkswagen Passat B8 which means that it will be a completely new car compared to the outgoing version. The model will be 20 mm linger, 50 mm wider and 75 kg lighter than its predecessor and it will get a 1.4L gasoline engine with 125 HP for the entry-level version. This will be joined by the 1.8L with 260 HP and the 120 HP – 190 HP 1.6L to 2.0L diesel units, connected to a 6-speed manual or a DSG in FWD or AWD.
