[Video] 2018 Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet is gracing Frankfurt image

The German automaker is diligently preparing for the home salon of Frankfurt Motor Show – and apparently the make will display around 100 vehicles…

Some of them will be of the top down variety – Mercedes is preparing the official worldwide introduction of the facelifted S Class Cabriolet, and we naturally have an accompanying teaser. The sedan has been introduced – via China – a few months back and the European venue gets to see the cabriolet and coupe in the spotlight, most likely adopting the exact same changes as on the four-door. We’re pretty sure – even the teaser is quite revealing – there aren’t massive changes in store, as the sedan only gained a few stylistic enhancements for the bumpers and lighting clusters. Fans of the brand might notice the reshaped grille, as well as new alloy designs and painting options.

More important modifications have been operated to the interior – we can expect the coupe and cabriolet to adopt the sedan’s new steering wheel and the additional dashboard changes. Of course, the Cabriolet and Coupe will have new technologies – perhaps best suiting would be the new Energizing Comfort system that enables so-called “moods” in order to enhance the superlative comfort even further. Under the massive hood will reside a completely new biturbo 3.0-liter V6 acting as the base option with 362 horsepower.
