A Subaru BRZ modified by Accelerated Performance has managed to run a quarter mile in less than 12 seconds, at the Milan Dragway.

We don’t get to write about the Toledo, Ohio based tuning company named Accelerated Performance but that doesn’t mean that they can be ignored and in order to prove themselves, the aftermarket specialists have recently modified a Subaru BRZ and send it on the Milan Dragway, where the Japanese sports car managed to post an impressive time of 11.3 seconds.

In order to finish the quarter mile in 11.3 seconds at a speed of 204 km/h (127 mph), the Subaru BRZ in question has been fitted with a turbocharged, with a high performance exhaust system, an AEM Tru Boost Controller, an upgraded fuel pump, an Exedy clutch and new injectors, along with the ECU which has been also modified.

Thanks to the modifications mentioned above, the Subaru BRZ has entered another league and from its almost 200 HP produced in standard by the 2.0 liter boxer engine, the Japanese sports car is now developing a total output of 440 HP (446 PS / 328 kW) and 460 Nm of torque (340 lb-ft). Power is still being sent to the rear-wheel drive.
