A Capristo exhaust has been added recently to an Alfa Romeo 4C and besides a great noise, this is also helping it produce an extra oomph.
One of the most beautiful cars produced by Alfa Romeo, the 4C, is the subject of a new video which has been released by Capristo Automotive. The model in question has been updated with a Capristo exhaust system and the clip posted below is showing it revving its engine. Thanks to this, the total output of the engine has increased to 276 HP (203 kW) and 440 Nm (325 lb-ft) of torque. Unfortunately Capristo didn’t release any extra details on the topic and if you happen to be a 4C owner who is interested in this exhaust system, chances are the tuner will detail it over the next few weeks.
The Alfa Romeo 4C is a small and lightweight Italian sports car which is similar in size to the MiTo. The vehicle has a rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive and it is currently put together in Modena, Italy, at the Maserati plant. This has been designed by Lorenzo Ramaciotti at Centro Stile Alfa Romeo and it has been in production for two years now, since 2013. The Alfa Romeo 4C stands at 3,989 mm in length, 1,864 mm in width and 1,183 mm tall, with a dry weight of 895 kg. The vehicle is taking its power from a 1.75 liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine which is capable of putting down 237 HP (180 kW) at 6,000 rpm and 350 Nm (260 lb-ft) of torque, at 2,100 rpm, in standard form. From 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph), this needs 4.5s and top speed is 258 km/h.
