[Video] Amazon shows off Clarkson, Hammond and May thinking about show title image

The online retail giant has decided to treat us to another teaser for its upcoming show that involves the world of automobiles and Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May.

This time around the promo footage shows us how an editorial meeting takes place, with the three hosts talking about an important detail – the new show’s name. This might be harder than we think as some possible name suggestions coming from Hammond are quickly dismissed by Clarkson and May who don’t agree on either Auto Mates or Tripod. Clarkson is his usual self and makes useful suggestions only if they were to present a show related to rock band Genesis. The video ends with a hashtag that will most likely be forgotten quickly by everyone: #TheStillVeryMuchUntitledClarksonHammondMayAmazonPrimeShowComingAutumn2016.
After the video was released, Clarkson’s Twitter account was simply flooded with ideas and he made the comment that any title with the word gear in it will not be available due to legal concerns.

We can all remember that Clarkson was simply fired by the top brass at BBC over the Top Gear “fracas” with producer Oisin Tymon – an internal query of the TV network revealed Tymon was submitted to an “unprovoked physical and verbal attack” by Clarkson who was upset about the dinner choice after a day of filming. He physically attacked Tymon which was left with a swollen and bloody lip. Of course the latter then sued and reports claim Clarkson settled it by paying around $139,135 in damages and publicly apologizing.
