A confusing video showing a possible new version of the Audi S3 Sedan testing on the Nurburgring has recently ended up on the web.
Audi is apparently trying to fill the gap between the S3 Sedan and the upcoming RS3 Sedan with a new model which will probably be called the S3 Sedan Plus. The model in question is believed to have been caught on camera recently while it was being tested out on the famous German track, the Nurburgring. The prototype seen in the clip is definitely gasoline powered, judging by its sound, and it isn’t the upcoming top of the line RS3 because it doesn’t have any camouflage on its body.
Considering the fact that it looks plain and simple like an Audi S3 Sedan, we can dare to say that the model is actually the so-called S3 Sedan Plus, which will bridge the gap between the S3 and the RS3. The S3 is coming with a four-cylinder 2.0 liter TFSI engine, rated at 300 HP, while the latter will be getting a 2.5 liter TFSI five-cylinder engine under its hood, which will come with 360 HP or even 400+ HP. More details on the subject remain unknown for the moment.
