The GT4 racer is a proud product of its home country – Poland – and the company has decided to celebrate its roots taking the model on a road tour.
Arrinera’s track-exclusive Hussarya GT has been introduced this year in January at the Autosport International in Birmingham and has since made the rounds on the Internet while also appearing during the Goodwood Festival of Speed or showcasing its skills on a very wet airfield in Bruntingthorpe in Leicestershire. Now the model is back in its home country – Poland – and has embarked on a nationwide tour – complete with numerous stops, such as the country’s capital Warsaw. Since we’re talking about a proper racer, the Hussarya GT is nowhere near street-legal, but having your own brand of supercars is something for any country – so it appears the authorities were lenient and allowed the Arrinera people have the city’s downtown turned into the prototype’s own street circuit.
The model has been developed and engineered by the Warsaw’s Technical University for the FIA GT4 championship, and has a carbon fiber body filled with a race-spec naturally-aspirated LS3 V8 taken from General Motors. A sequential, six-speed transmission handles power delivery to the rear wheels, with anything between 420 and 650 horsepower available for the pilot at the helm.
