The British luxury sports car manufacturer has officially announced the new Vanquish Carbon Edition, available for both the coupe and convertible models.
The new Vanquish Carbon Edition only features two shades for the exterior paintwork, either white or black, while the window surrounds are also tinted black. There are also special brake calipers and 10-spoke alloy wheels with a gloss black touch.
The interior is just as lightly customized, but we spotted the use of Herringbone carbon fiber trim, light black accents and a Bang & Olufsen audio system with black anodized speaker grilles.
Power under the hood comes courtesy of the latest incarnation of the 6.0-liter V12 engine that churns out 576 hp (423 kW) and 630 Nm (465 lb-ft) of torque. The Vanquish Carbon Edition has the same performance level of the regular Vanquish, reaching 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.6 seconds and topping out at a maximum speed of 201 mph (324 km/h). That’s courtesy of the addition of a new eight-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission in the 2015 model year Vanquish, which undercuts the previous model’s performance by half a second. The model is also capable of better performance when it comes to fuel consumption, with the EU extra urban cycle rating it at 31 mpg UK (25.8 mpg US or 9.1 liters/100 km).
