Aston Martin has recently released a new promotional video for the 2012 V8 Vantage facelift, revealing the sports car while it hits the road.
As you probably know by now, the entry-level model is adopting the same styling as the Vantage S, with a lower front bumper with air splitter, new rear bumper with integrated diffuser and redesigned side sills. Besides these, the facelifted Aston Martin V8 Vantage is also coming with a bigger and improved breaking system, quicker steering and wider tires.
According to the car manufacturer, the 2012 Aston Martin Vantage V8 facelift is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine which is developing a total output of 420 BHP and it has a peak torque of 490 Nm (361 lb-ft), compared to the 430 BHP of the Aston Martin Vantage S. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission as standard, but an optional seven-speed Sportshift II can also be ordered.
The 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage facelift has a starting price of 84,995 GBP or 108,500 euros in Germany for both the coupe and the roadster, while the Vantage S will set you back for 99,995 GBP or 128,500 euros.
