The guys at Auto Express have recently taken the Aston Martin’s newest model, the Vanquish Volante, for a quick spin.
The new Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, which is showing Auto Express testing the good-looking sports car. The Vanquish Volante is actually the first ever Volante to get a carbon fiber body and this means that it’s only 9 kg (19.8 lbs) heavier than its solid roof brother. The model has a triple-skit lightweight fabric roof which can fold in 14 seconds.
Power to the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante is being provided by a 6.0 liter V12 engine, which is producing a total output of 573 HP (421 kW), at 6,750 rpm, and it has a peak torque of 620 Nm (457 lb-ft), available at 5,500 rpm. This configuration is allowing it to sprint form 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.1 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 294 km/h (183 mph). The Aston Martin Vanquish Volante costs 264,995 euros, on the Old Continent, and 297,995 USD, over-seas. The model has been officially presented to the public back in June, earlier this year.
