The first official video with the brand new Audi A3 Sedan has been recently released by the German based automaker, ahead of its public debut scheduled for the 27th of March.
The footage posted below is not what you’re imagining, TFSI engines in high revs and a deserted mountain road, in fact it’s a simple way to make the announcement that the Audi A3 Sedan will be officially unveiled on the 27th of March. The Audi A3 Sedan is based on the concept wearing the same name, which was unveiled a couple of years ago during the 2011 Geneva Motor Show.
The Audi A3 Sedan is a direct rival for the Mercedes-Benz CLA and it’s riding on the brand new MQB platform, the same one underpinning its hatchback brothers and also the same one used on the new VW Golf 7 or Seat Leon, amongst others. The engine lineup in the Audi A3 Sedan is expected to include units ranging from 1.2 liters (TFSI) with 105 HP (77 kW) to 1.8 liters TFSI with 180 HP (132 kW), while diesel lovers will get two versions of the 2.0 liter TDI, with 150 HP (110 kW) and 184 HP (135 kW). Additional details on the Audi A3 Sedan will be announced on the 27th of March, during its unveil.
