Audi has released the first details with the S Line for the new A4 sedan generation.
A few weeks after the new Audi A4 generation has been officially unveiled, over the web, in its two body styles, sedan and Avant, the model in question is being placed into the spotlights once again, with the company releasing the first details on the S Line model. The S Line is currently aimed towards the four-door version of the car and it is bringing a lot of extra goodies which should satisfy your needs until the real S4 will be unveiled, probably at the 2014 Frankfurt Motor Show, next month, and until the range-topping RS4 will be shown, sometimes next year.
This particular model has been painted in Tango Red and it has the LED headlights, the 12.3-inch customizable instrument cluster, the Bang & Olufsen sound system, the S Line leather seats, the sport steering wheel, the granite gray dashboard trim, the illuminated side sills with the S logo on them and several other goodies. Under its hood, the Audi A4 Sedan S Line is making use of a 2.0 liter TFSI engine, available in two power stages, with 190 HP (140 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb-ft) of torque and with 252 HP (185 kW) and 370 Nm (273 lb-ft) of torque. Power is being sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through the optional new 7-speed dual clutch S Tronic transmission. The new A4 will be offered for sale in Europe this fall. No pricing details have been announced so far.
