We’re pretty much expecting to already know everything about the upcoming RS3 Sedan, but Audi is still not looking to present it officially because it’s hard at work testing its limits.
The rumor mill has all the juicy details about the forthcoming Audi RS3 Sedan, complete with leaks, but it’s all more interesting to see a pre-production prototype taking a huge abuse from its driver while on the famed Nurburgring track. In this spy video we can see the model is starting to lose its camouflage and that may very well be due to the thrashing of the driver that looks to gather as much information as possible about its limits. The company from Ingolstadt hasn’t even announced the exact date of introduction for the high-performance compact sedan, but we’re clearly looking at the Paris Motor Show in early October as a possible date.
The case may very well be set for the Los Angeles Auto Show in November as the quattro RS3 Sedan will reach the United States as a 2018 model year version. Because the RS3 Sportback hasn’t been updated with the facelift styling we reckon both the hatch and sedan will feature the same styling and launch date – as well as share the 2.5-liter, five-cylinder engine complete with 400 horsepower stable.
