An Audi R8 E-Tron has been recently taken for a spin around the famous German track, the Nurburgring, by race pilot Markus Winkelhock.
The impressive Audi R8 E-Tron has been taken for a spin on the Nurburgring in late June this year, when the model managed to “run” on the track in 8:09.099 minutes in the demanding 20.8 kilometers (12.92 miles), but the video posted below is actually showing us footage from the cabin of the supercar, when Markus Winkelhock piloted the high-performance vehicle around the track.
The Audi R8 E-Tron is an all-electric drive sports car which is getting two electric motors, one fitted onto each axle, which generate a whopping 4,900 Nm of torque (3,615 lb-ft), enough to allow the supercar to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds, but still 0.2 of a second slower than the fastest version of the Tesla Model S, before it can hit a top speed of 124 mph. You can watch Markus Winkelhock’s run in the video posted below. Enjoy!
