Audi has released a new promotional video with the new generation of the R8.
Trippy is the word to use when trying to describe the new spot of the Audi R8, released by the car manufacturer. Telling you all about it makes no sense since you can check it out for yourselves but don’t expect any fast driving, drifting or revving, because it’s not the case.
The second generation of the Audi R8 has been officially presented to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. The model in question is currently being offered in a single body style, a coupe, and it’s related to the Lamborghini Huracan, obviously. It has a rear mid-engine and all-wheel drive layout and it stands at 4,426 mm in length, 1,940 mm in width and 1,240 mm in height, with a total weight of 1,555 kg / 1,595 kg.
The 5.2 liter FSI V10 naturally aspirated engine is found under its hood, in two outputs, with 533 HP (397 kW) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque, and with 602 HP (449 kW) and 560 Nm (413 lb-ft) of torque, in the R8 V10 Plus. The 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration is made in 3.5 seconds and 3.2 seconds, respectively, and top speed stands at 319 km/h (198 mph) and 330 km/h (205 mph). Power is sent to the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive through a 7-speed S-tronic transmission.
