[VIDEO] Audi R8 Spyder – huge crash caught on camera
A huge crash involving an Audi R8 Spyder has been caught on camera, a few years ago, but the footage was just made public.
Back in 2011, a YouTube user has been the witness of a massive accident on the Bullrun rally, which involved an Audi R8 Spyder. The German supercar was changing lanes and its driver hadn’t seen the Mercedes-Benz SL55 next to him. The two vehicles made contact at high speeds and the R8 has bounced off and rear ended a Honda. The SL55 involved in the crash was owned by Ice T. Scroll down and click the play button below to check out the whole incident.
The German based automaker Audi has introduced the R8 Spyder 5.2 FSI Quattro back in 2009 and the model in question had seen daylight for the first time, in an official environment, during the Frankfurt Motor Show. The supercar in question was powered by a 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine. Prices for the model started at 111,955 GBP in the United Kingdom, for the manual, and at 117,155 GBP for the R Tronic version. Audi will soon replace the R8 as the model in question will be based on the newly unveiled Lamborghini Huracan, the successor of the popular Gallardo.
