The brand new Audi R8 V10 Plus has been recently taken for a spin around the famous German track, the Nurburgring.
After it was officially unveiled just a few months ago and then launched in several markets across the globe, like Europe, the United States, Australia or India, the brand new Audi R8 V10 Plus is being placed into the spotlights once again, this time with the help of a video, which is showing the supercar on the Nurburgring Nordschleife. The most powerful Audi road-going vehicle has been tested by Sport Auto and driven by Horst von Saurma. The supercar managed to lap the Ring in 7 minutes and 45 seconds, faster than the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano.
As a quick reminder, the Audi R8 V10 Plus is the fastest production car made by the German based company. The model in question is a lighter and more powerful version of the regular Audi R8 V10. Power is still being provided by the same 5.2 liter FSI V10 engine, which is now producing a total output of 550 HP (404 kW) and 540 Nm of torque (398 lb-ft). The Audi R8 V10 Plus can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds before reaching a top speed of 317 km/h (197 mph).
