A prototype version of the upcoming Audi RS3 Sportback has been recently spotted while being tested out on the Nurburgring.
The development of the Audi RS3 Sportback is no longer a surprise as the model in question has been already caught on camera while being tested out several times now and the newest video is showing the future range topper hot hatch in action on the famous German track, the Nurburgring. The Audi RS3 Sportback seen below has been camouflaged but even so, some of the details seen on its body are suggesting that this is not your regular A3.
Rumors are saying that the future Audi RS3 Sportback will be taking its power from the company’s 2.5 liter five-cylinder engine. The unit in question should be producing approximately 360 HP (268 kW), but the car manufacturer is also planning on offering an even hotter version of the model which should be good for an impressive 400 HP (298 kW), more than what Mercedes-Benz has to offer with its A45 AMG. More details on the Audi RS3 Sportback are limited for the moment and will be announced close to its debut, probably over the next few months.
