They were revealed just last month, so the limited editions Audi RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback performance are pretty hot – with the Ingolstadt-based automaker also baking some video footage featuring them.
The top of the line versions for the RS6 and RS7 couple comes with an additional force of 45 PS (33 kW) delivered by the TFSI 4.0-liter V8 power mill that now has a hefty 605 PS (445 kW) bragging credential – the same number of ponies can be found under the hood of the larger S8 plus limousine. Thanks to the update the RS6 and RS7 are more than willing to deliver better performance results and will jump to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.7 seconds and then will roar to a top speed of 189.5 mph (305 km/h) if the buyer will cleverly opt for the added value performance package. As is the case with Audi, visual enhancements are so obvious you’ll need Sherlock Holmes’s looking glass to spot them – slightly larger air inlets and a glossy black finish adorns the front grille while or the diffuser is more menacing at the back. You can have an optional Ascari Blue exterior hue, RS sport seats, Alcantara & leather upholstery or added carbon fiber trim as well.
Audi will have at least 117,000 euros if you want the RS6 Avant performance and going for the RS7 Sportback performance will set you back €121,700 if you live in Germany. Both cars share besides the engine the optional rear sport differential with active torque distribution, the adaptive air suspension and the upgraded eight-speed tiptronic transmission or the optional carbon ceramic brake discs.
