The Audi RS6 Avant is powered by a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine, which is coming as a replacement for the 5.2 liter naturally aspirated one. The new engine is producing a total output of 560 HP (412 kW) and 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, which are being sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive system, through an eight-speed tiptronic transmission. The standard model can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.9 seconds. Top speed has been electronically limited to 250 km/h (155 mph) and the average fuel consumption stands at 9.8 liters every 100 km.
