Audi has recently released a brand new promotional video with the RS6 Avant, which is showing the E-segment wagon as a road-going race car.
The new generation of the Audi RS6 Avant has been around for quite some time and it has played the main role in many promotional videos across these months but the newest footage with the model is probably one of the greatest ever made and if you’re a motorsport fan, you will simply love it. We won’t be spoilers and tell you all about it except the fact that the RS6 Avant is shown as a road-going race car, but in a very original way.
The new Audi RS6 Avant is taking its power from a 4.0 liter twin turbo V8 engine. This has replaced the old 5.2 liter naturally aspirated unit and it’s now producing a total output of 560 HP (412 kW) and 700 Nm of torque (516 lb-ft). These “figures” are being sent to the Quattro all-wheel drive system through an eight-speed tiptronic transmission, which is allowing the powerful wagon to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and to reach a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph). With the Dynamic Package, the top speed can increase to 280 km/h (174 mp) and with the Dynamic Plus to 305 km/h (190 mph).
